Omg this manicotti is off the scale! Value prices, great pies, awesome hoagies, cool drinks. Call them before 8:15, they close "early". CHEESE MANICOTTI ($12.50) Three delightful homemade pieces, stuffed with ricotta and layered in mozzarella atop the delectable tomato sauce. Comes with a side salad, delightful crispy fresh iceberg lettuce, baby tomatoes, and sliced onions. And bread! A 10" roll, toasted, buttered and garlicked. Oh wow that's so soft inside and that's fresh garlic! ThE HOAGIES Big thick rolls are the norm here. Take my word for it, order double meat, extra oil vinegar for just the right balance. THE SLICES My favorite thing, a double baked slice from the counter. Crispy goodness. MORE Inspired by the prolific, witty, erudite and very urbane Michael N. of Princeton's recent pic. I realized that manicotti was needed, URGENTLY. What a find!
Great food, quick, nice, professional service, nice phone manners, and delivery driver was a doll. My only complaint was that I ordered a chicken cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms and I received a chicken steak with mushrooms but no cheese and no fried onions. The sandwich was really good and I was probably the last order of the night so I just added my own cheese and it was yum! I'd definitely order again but I'll confirm fried onion and cheese via telephone. We are all human and lord knows I make tons of mistakes and the Sammy was really great and they scooped the roll my fave!
Stopped by here randomly to grab a quick bite and wasn't expecting much but it was pretty good. Ate it hot out of the oven so the crust was nice and crisp. Indoor and outdoor seating.
Eggplant Parm Sandwich Highlights: - crispy bread - hot - good amount of cheese - fair portion & price Low points: - a bit bland - cheese hard to incorporate into each bite - a bit dry Recommendations: - more sauce! i would recommend heating up some good marinara on the side and pair that which each bite to retain peak crispiness throughout - shuffling around the contents may help distribute the cheese for better per-bite composition
